Creative Art & 3D Pen

(Elementary School Art)
Creative Art class offers unique activities that include: Drawing & Painting, 3D Pen, Mixed Media, Clay, Crafts, Recycle Art, Sewing, and a lot more! Everything Can be Great and Unique Artworks!

Fine Art ( 5 – Adults)

Unit 1: Observational Drawing
Line, Shape and the elements of design

The student will begin learning how to recognize shapes by drawing a combination of still life and cartoon exercises. This also teaches instrument control and builds critical thinking. Focus: Line as an element of design, proportion as a principle of design

Unit 2: Value, Texture, and Pattern

In this unit, the student will begin to learn how light behaves by utilizing various techniques of shading using charcoal, graphite, and ink. The student will learn techniques used in realism and illustration. Focus: Value and texture as elements of design, Pattern as a principle of design

Unit 3: Color

This unit is dedicated to color theory and its application. This is done through a combination of master study and observational drawing. The student will use oil pastel and watercolor along with master study in this unit. Focus: Color as an element of design.

Fine Art (continued)

Unit 4: Anatomy

The student will learn human anatomy and study the structure and movement of the body. By utilizing the knowledge gained up to this point the student will combine that with the design elements of form and proportion. Focus: Form as an element of design and proportion as a principle of design

Unit 5: Perspective

The student will begin learning about space through the use of Perspective and deep space projection. The student will learn 1, 2, and 3 point perspective as well as an intuitive perspective. Focus: Space as an element of design and perspective as a principle of design Unit 6: Applied Aesthetics In this final unit, the student will learn how to apply all previously gained knowledge in a studio setting. The student will begin to learn how to turn theory into practice through the use of all previous media in conjunction with master study in the form of sessions focused on a specific media and master. Completion of this unit will provide the student with the necessary knowledge to pursue fine art or illustration.

Digital Art Class

Students will explore the limitless possibilities of creating art using digital tools and technology. The course will cover the basics of digital illustration, including the use of graphic tablets and software such as Adobe Fresco. Students will learn techniques for digital painting, 2D animation , and the manipulation of images. Emphasis will be placed on mastering the digital workspace, understanding layers, and utilizing advanced tools to bring creative visions to life. Through hands-on projects, students will gain practical experience in creating digital art for various applications.

While both classes share the goal of fostering creativity and visual communication, the key difference lies in the tools and mediums employed – traditional for illustration and digital for digital art.

Art History/Appreciation/Theory

In the classes, we include those studies for our student to develop their knowledge of art fully. 
When students have completed our classes, they will better understand the power of observing with their eyes. These classes guide our students to richly express their thoughts with precision both verbally and in writing.

Fundamental Techniques for Painting/Drawing

You will gain both traditional, new, and unique ways to express yourself from these strong fundamentals. We do know you invest your precious time and effort to learn 
this. Our teachers will show the way that you have the skills and techniques to express yourself on canvas. 
You will draw and paint your worlds and dreams from now!

Digital Art: 4-5th Graders
Teens – Adults

Tuition:

Children: 1-hour class: $270/class (4 classes)
Teens-Adults: 1.5-hour class: $300/class (4 classes)
If there are 5 weeks in a month, add one more class fee.

We mostly provide materials, but we will inform you if you need your own.

Trial classes – Up to 2 classes with the class fees before registering

  • Mondays: Teens – Adults (3:30 pm to 5:00 pm)
  • Tuesdays: Elementary (4:30 pm to 5:30 pm)
  • Wednesdays:
    • Elementary (5:30 pm to 6:30 pm)
    • Teens (6:00 pm to 7:30 pm)
  • Thursdays:
    • Children (4:30 pm to 5:30 pm)
    • Teens – Adults (6:00 pm to 7:30 pm)
  • Saturdays:
    • Children (10:00 am to 11:00 am)
    • Teens – Adults (11:30 am to 1:00 pm)

Digital Art Class

  • Saturdays:
    • 4-5th Grade (10:00 am to 11:10 am)
    • Teens – Adults (11:20 am – 12:50 pm)
  • What Will You Learn: 2D Animation, Digital art history, Theory, Basic Drawing and Painting & more.
Our Recommendation Policy
We are glad to write recommendations for you to go to good colleges, apply for jobs, or receive scholarships. However, we will not compromise our standards to write a letter because you take classes with us. When we write a recommendation letter, we must feel proud of you and willing to go the extra mile. We will do anything for you when you show your great efforts and good hearts.

 

Here are the basic criteria for us to write recommendations for you. When you meet the requirements, we will interview you as well.
1. Take classes for at least one year with us.
2. Show hard work, good attendance, and sincerity. 
3. Test score requirement of 80% or higher- Language class students.
